Founded in 1912, The Outdoor Circle is a statewide, non-profit environmental organization, whose mission is to “keep Hawaii clean, green and beautiful by preserving, protecting and enhancing our environment for future generations.” The Outdoor Circle has played a vital role in preserving Hawaii’s natural beauty by protecting Diamond Head from development; ridding the state of billboards; coordinating street tree planting programs; educating Hawaii’s youth about trees, litter and the environment; advocating for the placement of all utility lines underground; preserving open space, and promoting the creation of more parks.

Our association with The Outdoor Circle all began in 2001 when our group decided to celebrate Richard's birthday by making a donation to THE OUTDOOR CIRCLE in his name. We had done some research and found that Richard was a life member of this group.

We have supported The Outdoor Circle ever since. The following is a breakdown of the groups donations to The Outdoor Circle to date:
