From the flickering light of the
small TV screen in 1961 to the stage of the Berkshire Theater in
2003, we were Richard’s audience. We were there for the first
episode of Dr. Kildare, for the sword fights and capes and plumes
of the swashbucklers, the songs of the Slipper and the Rose, then
the miniseries and TV movies and on to the stage for the musicals
and dramas.
